We offer the ability to submit wire transfers within Commercial Digital Banking, allowing you and your business to proceed without the interruption to your day to day.

  • Domestic Wires required information
    • Financial institution name & ABA/Routing Transit Number (must be 9 digits).
    • Further credit name & account number (if applicable) For example: mortgage company, brokerage firm, or corporate bank.
    • Final credit name, address, & account number for the person/company to whom the funds are being given.
  • International Wires required information
    • International bank name, address, & Swift/BIC/Sort Code.
    • Final credit name, address, & account number for the person/company to whom the funds are being given.
    • IBAN: when provided in wire instructions given by the recipient. (IBAN has the recipient account number in it)

Create a Wire Payment

  1. In the navigation Menu, select or tap Commercial then Payments.
  2. Select or tap New Payment, then select the wire payment type (Domestic Wire or International Wire).
  1. On the Set Up Wires tab, select a Process Date.
    1. Optional – Select Set Schedule to set up a recurring schedule.
    2. Select a date on the When should this transaction stop? calendar, or select Repeat Forever, then select Save.
  2. In the Recipient/Account search field, enter a recipient or account, or select one from the drop-down list.
    1. If you have the Manage Recipients right, select New Recipient to create and assign a new recipient.
  3. In the Recipient Detail tab, enter details, then select Next. Wire names can be up to 35 characters long.
  1. In the Account – New tab, enter details for the Recipient, select Save Recipient, then select OK or Create Recipient, depending on the enabled feature rights.
    1. For international wires, the currency is automatically USD. (Note: If an international wire needs to be sent as foreign currency, list the information in Description found under optional wire information (ex. Please send wire out in GBP)
    2. In the From Account field, enter or select an account from which the payment(s) will be made.
    3. Select the Notify check box to notify the recipient of the payment, otherwise leave this unchecked.
    4. Select Optional Fields, then do one or more of the following:
      • Enter a Message to Beneficiary.
      • Enter a Purpose of Wire. (Required)
      • Enter a Reference for Beneficiary.
      • Enter FI-to-FI Information.
    5. To send multiple wires with one submission, enter a number in the more wire(s) field, select Add, then repeat these steps for each added payment and select Next.
  2. On the Review & Submit tab, if you have the proper Allowed Actions enabled, select Draft or Approve. Otherwise, select Save.
  3. A confirmation message appears. Select Close.
